Last Day of Classes

Good morning everyone,

This will be my last blog post for all of you. I had a great time teaching this class and I wish all of you the best of luck as you move on to your senior year of high school.

Today some students in the class will be presenting their Prezi projects. During each presentation complete this feedback form. When we are finished with the presentations you will have time to study for the final exam.

You will also have the opportunity to return textbooks today!

Don't forget to leave class without reading the PLHS bulletin!

Preparing for the final exam!

Good morning everyone,

Today you will have the opportunity to work on creating a study guide for the final. Since Google docs is not working, you will complete this independently. You can either type up your study guide on word and email it to yourself or write it on a separate see of paper. Use the blog as a tool to go back and review what we have learned this semester (Feb-June).

You can find material on the blog by:

1. Using the search function to look for specific texts we read.

2. Using the archive, which categorizes what we have done by month.

Remember use your time wisely. The more you do in class the less you will have to do at home.

NOTE: TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY I WILL ACCEPT ANY REVISED AND/OR LATE WORK. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Follow the steps below to create a Prezi account at home:

1. Got the Prezi homepage

2. Click sign up now.

3. Click the FREE account.

4. Register.

5. If you can, use an email other than gmail.

6. You only need to create one Prezi account per group.

7. Make sure you share the password you use to create the account with your partner.

I hope you had a great three-day weekend and are back and ready to discuss poetry. Even though you will not be able to access Google documents at school anymore, I am still able to update the blog from home. Make sure you keep checking it.
